Overview¶
There are a couple different structures that you can use to build stuff in.
In the following chapters, only Engineering Complexes and Refiners will be looked in detail.
| Name | Category | Capabilities | Industry Bonuses | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raitaru | Engineering Complex | Manufacturing | - 1% reduction in material requirements for manufacturing jobs - 15% reduction in time requirements for manufacturing and science jobs - 3% reduction in ISK requirements for manufacturing and science jobs |
|
| Azbel | Engineering Complex | Manufacturing, Capitals | - 1% reduction in material requirements for manufacturing jobs - 20% reduction in time requirements for manufacturing and science jobs - 4% reduction in ISK requirements for manufacturing and science jobs |
|
| Sotiyo | Engineering Complex | Manufacturing, Capitals, Supers, Titans | - 1% reduction in material requirements for manufacturing jobs - 30% reduction in time requirements for manufacturing and science jobs - 5% reduction in ISK requirements for manufacturing and science jobs |
|
| Athanor | Refinery | Reprocessing, Reaction, Manufacturing | - 4% bonus to gas decompression efficiency | |
| Tatara | Refinery | Reprocessing, Reaction, Manufacturing | - 10% bonus to gas decompression efficiency - 25% reduction in time requirements for reaction jobs |
|
| Astrahus | Citadel | Manufacturing | -/- | |
| Fortizar | Citadel | Manufacturing | -/- Note: Some Faction Forts have manufacturing bonuses |
|
| Keepstar | Citadel | Manufacturing | -/- | |
| NPC-Station | NPC-Station | Manufacturing | TODO |
Rigs¶
Like for ships, there are also T1 and T2 Rigs for structures.
Structure size determines Rig size, just as ship sizes vary.
- Medium Rigs for Astrahus, Raitaru, and Athanor
- Large Rigs for Fortizar, Azbel, and Tatara
- Extra Large Rigs for Keepstar and Sotiyo
Rig bonuses are always consistent, regardless of size: Medium, Large, or Extra Large.
- T1 Rigs provide a 2% material reduction bonus and a 20% time reduction bonus.
- T2 Rigs provide a 2.4% material bonus and a 24% time reduction bonus.
Additionally, the Rigs are affected by the System's Security.
For engineering rigs:
- Highsec has a bonus of 1x, so there is no additional bonus
- Lowsec has an additional 1.9x modifier
- Nullsec and Wormhole have a 2.1x modifier
For refinery rigs:
- Highsec doesn't have a bonus as reactions cannot be done in Highsec
- Lowsec has a bonus of 1x, so there is no additional bonus
- Nullsec and Wormhole have a 1.1x modifier
Example using an engineering rig:
You can calculate the total bonus using Rig Bonus * Security Bonus.
For a T2 Rig in a Structure placed in a Nullsec System you would get a 5.04% (2.4 * 2.1) Material reduction bonus and a 50.4% (24 * 2.1) Time reduction bonus.
Rig Sizes¶
Depending on the Rig's size, they will apply to a different number of Item Groups. Medium Rigs are also unique, as they also split between Material and Time Efficiency.
There are a total of 64 Rigs for a Raitaru, 32 for Material Efficiency, and 32 for Time Efficiency. An Azbel reduces the number of Rigs to 34, with half T1 Rigs and the other half T2 Rigs. For a Sotiyo, there are only 8 Rigs: 4 T1 and 4 T2.
Rig size determines cost. A T2 Rig for a Raitaru costs around 3bil, while a T1 Rig for a Sotiyo costs about 40bil.
This is, of course, not a fair comparison. While you only need one Sotiyo to cover all Manufacturing needs, you will need significantly more Raitaru’s. The nice thing with Raitaru’s is that you can pick and choose what Bonuses you need, and whether or not you want T1 or T2 Rigs, or if you want a Time Bonus.
