Taxes

Like everywhere in Eve, industry also has a couple taxes.

In the industry are you have three different taxes: SCC, System cost Index and Facility Tax. This chapter will cover all three of them and give some examples and recommendations.

General Infos

When dealing with market orders, you have a set of skills with which you can reduce the different taxes, for industry there are no skills. The only thing that can reduce the amount of taxes you pay are either a bonus from the structure you are producing in, or the system you are producing in, all other taxes are out of your control.

The sub-chapters give a more detailed overview of the different taxes, where as this page, will assume you know what these taxes are and how they come into being.

In short:

  • System cost Index > The more and the longer the jobs started in a system, the higher the tax
  • Facility Tax > Is set by the owner of the structure
  • SCC > ISK-Sink

Pay them taxes, it helps the corporation/alliance that put up the structures.
