Interface¶
- TODO: image where the structure is crossed out
- TODO: image from a not availble operation
- TODO: better name for operation
- TODO: image of a reaction formula in a tatara
- TODO: image of the different skill states
- TODO: image of a ship for invention with different outcomes
- TODO: better copy image
- TODO: facility hover over an operation image
In this chapter we will learn more about the in-game industry window.
There are two ways to open it:
- Neocom -> ?? -> Industry
- In a station on the xxx window. Note: if you are in a NPC station without an industry service, that button won't show
Personal industry and Corporation industry¶
If you have the industry (TODO: whats the role called?) in your corporation, then you can switch between your personal and corporation industry.
In the Tab Jobs you for example have a dropdown that will either say Owned by me or STAR Owned by (TODO: what is does it show).
When you start a job, the selected corporation wallet will be used, besides the cost, a Star will be shown instead of a person icon.
From my experience, as soon as you select a blueprint from the corporation hangar, it will automatically select the corporation wallet for paying the jobs.
Overview¶
The window will look something like this:

- The materials that are required to build, research, or invent a blueprint
- The blueprint, with the Material and Time efficiency, and number of runs to start
- Depending on you skills, it will either be grayed out, half gray and white, blue, or blue with a star
TODO: add a small example image
- Gray -> You don't have the necessary skills
- Gray / White -> The necessary skills are in the skill queue
- Blue -> You have the skills to build it
- Blue with star -> You have perfect skills
- List of all operations that can be done for a blueprint
- BPO's will be have Manufacture, Material Efficiency, Time Efficieny, and Copy
- BPC's will have Manufacture, and Invention (if the BPC can be invented)
- T2 BPC's will have the Manufacture operation
- Reaction Formulas will only have reactions
- The facility you are currently in, or the structure that you selected in the 'Facility' tab
- Source from where the materials should be picked, this can for example be a container, or if you have coproration hangar access a different hangar
- Visual representation of the outcome, depending on what you are doing this will change
- Output, similar to the source, just for the output
- The time it take to perform the operation
- The cost of the operation. If you are in a corp with wallet access, you can change the icon from a person to a star. The person uses your wallet, the star uses the selected corporation wallet
- List of all blueprints, you can filter by different parameters. Espacially if you are building in multiple locations, the location filter is very useful
- List of all structures near you, it will list the different bonuses and capabilities of the structure
- List of all jobs that you started, if you have industry access in your corporation you can also set it to see corporation jobs
Material / Time Research¶

Both operations are basically the same. The only difference is that one improves the Material Efficiency while the other improves Time efficiency.
Copying¶

You first select the number of copies you want, and then the number of runs per blueprint. Instead of a ship, or module, you will see the BPC representation of the blueprint. Number of copies that are created, and the numbers of runs per copy.
Invention¶

For invention you will always need the number of datacores shown. You can optionally also add a decryptor, depending on the decryptor used, the resulting BPC will have different properties, for example more runs, but less material efficiency, or a higher probability to be successful, but less runs.
Missing materials / Buy all materials¶

You can right click on the arrow, and get the option to copy the needed materials (TODO: does it do more?), or to buy materials.
You can either Buy all materials or Buy Missing Materials.
Both options will open the Multibuy window and insert the materials.
Material¶

When you hover over the array it will give you an overview of the materials required, and what influences the needed materials.
Time¶

When you hover over the time it takes to perform the operation, you get an overview of what influences the time needed.
Cost¶

When you hover over the cost it takes to perform the operation, you get an overview of what influences the cost.
Adjusting ME/TE¶

You can click into the Material and Time efficiency field and adjust it up or down. This will not change the actual blueprint, but it can be useful to check if it's worth researching a blueprint.
Blueprint¶

Shows all availabel blueprints. If a blueprint is currently in use, it will be grayed out. You can filter out blueprints that are in use by clicking the cog, and deselecting TODO: image + name.
You also have several options to filter for different blueprints. You can filter by station, hangar / container, blueprint type, and the group of blueprints.
Facility¶

You can see all structures that you have access to, in this case I filtered to my region and additionally filtered to our staging system. UALX has 4 structures that are able to do some sort of industry, the Keepstar, the Tatara, and two Sotiyos. You should use the Keepstar only to build something like Containers or other very small stuff, for everything else you are better of using the other strucutres. The red line under the operation icon, shows the index of the system, you can hover over it to see the actual value.
If you select a different station, it will be updated at the top right where the current station is shown. This is very nice to compare different stations and their bonuses without having to move the blueprint to the station. Note: The selection of the structure can be a bit funky at times, double check that it's actually selected and that the strucutre on the top right is not highlighted red.
