Blueprint Copies (BPC)¶
There are mutliple different BPC types, which all will be explored. They can either be created from a BPO, found in exploration, found in Abyssals, bought in the LP store, gained as a reward for missions, and probably a couple other methods I forgot. Be aware, that there is not a BPO for every BPC.
You can identify blueprint originals by their light blue color:
Sourcing Blueprint Copies¶
There are several ways to obtain blueprint copies.
From a Blueprint Original¶
Blueprint copies can be created by copying a blueprint original.
When copying you can insert the number of copies you want to create and the number of runs per copy. The resulting copy will have the same ME and TE as the original.

From Contracts¶
You can often find copies on contracts, espacially in Jita. If the contract contains a single copy, you can hover over the contract and it will show you the number of runs, ME, and TE (same is true for originals). TODO: add example of a single BPC
If there are mutliple BPCs in a single contract, you can open the details of the contract, and for every copy there will be an entry for the number of runs, ME, and TE. TODO: add example of mutliple BPC's
From Exploration¶
Some copies can only be found via exploration as they don't have a BPO (the chance is high that they are on contract).

From Abyssal¶
Doing Abyssal Deadspace runs can also result in blueprints. MOst of them (or all TODO:) will be Trigelavian adjacent, so either Ammo, Guns, or Ships. TODO: list of copies
From LP-Store¶
Most Faction Blueprints can be obtained by trading them in LP. The copies will have a ME and TE of 0, and most times somewhere between 1 and 5 runs. TODO: validate runs
Depending on the Faction and if the LP is from FW or from mission, you will have different copies available. TODO: link to tools for LP stores
TODO: get a list of all copies and put them into a separat document
Using BPC's¶
Invention¶
In order to invent blueprints, you need copies. Additionally you need datacores, and optionally also Decryptors. Datacores and Decryptors can be found via exploration of data sites.
For invention the ME and TE of the copy does not matter. Per default the ME will aways be 2, and the TE 3. TODO: validate
For every run, you have the chance to get a T2 Blueprint. You can inrease the chance either by skills or via Decrpytors.
Datacores are required, and depending on the type of blueprint you will need multiple per run. Decryptors are optional, they will have different effects on the resulting BPC. They will change on of the following: success chance, runs, ME, TE. TODO: list of all decryptors TODO: list of all datacores
Manufacturing¶
Besides invention, you can also use them to manufacturing.
